I am Priyanka Ambavane. I have a long held fascination towards natural world. With AmbyPriya illustrations, I want to provide a platform to showcase the beauty of our natural world that we often overlook. My art creation captures the essence of our ecosystem and its diversity.

My university years were spent studying biodiversity and doing natural history illustrations in side. Being born in India, I am very glad that I spent most of the years after my graduation observing and exploring forests around Western Ghats. It inspired me to illustrate various interactions between flora and fauna. After being researcher for few years, I understood the need to form a bridge between art and science through science communication.

 My passion towards art and science transformed into a fulltime natural history illustrator.

Currently, I reside in the Netherlands and provide freelance art services in wide array of field specifically, in ecology and plant sciences. I enjoy translating complex scientific concepts into accurate and visually appealing artwork; which are also reachable to the general public. Chosen media are watercolors and digital.

Along the way I gained a desire to help others to observe the beauty of our ecosystem through the conscious eyes.
